Kellie graduated from WAAPA in 2000. Since then her career has allowed her to perform leading roles throughout Australia, New Zealand, Asia and the USA. 

Most recently Kellie performed the role of Bonnie Harris in the original Australian production of Come From Away from 2019-2021. In 2001 she performed in the original Australian cast of Mamma Mia! She took over the leading role of Sophie and played the role at the Sydney premiere, throughout Australia, New Zealand and Asia from 2002-2005. Kellie performed in the critically acclaimed musical Virgins (Dean Bryant and Matthew Frank) in 2006 at the Malthouse in Melbourne earning her a Green Room Award nomination. She was then invited to tour Virgins to New York City for the New York Musical Theatre Festival. Later in 2006 she was also invited to perform in Mandy Patinkin's Masterclass at the Adelaide Cabaret Festival.


In 2007 she played Annie in Sideshow Alley (Gary Young and Paul Keelan) and in 2008-2009 Kellie performed the leading role of Janet in Gale Edwards' production of The Rocky Horror Show. Later in 2009 she played Hortense in The Production Company's The Boyfriend and performed in the concert tour of Broadway To Australia with Broadway legends Lynn Ahrens and Stephen Flaherty.


Kellie appeared on screen as Catriona in House Husbands before studying with Craig Carnelia in New York City throughout 2013. While living in New York Kellie performed the leading role in Matthew Robinson's workshop of Atlantis, presented for Disney, and was twice invited to perform excerpts of Atlantis at the Australian Embassy in Washington DC. She also performed the leading role of Gertrude Kubrick in the short film about Stanley Kubrick’s youth in Fidelio (Jason Dubin).


Kellie proudly supports and has performed in many Australian workshops in Melbourne including Matthew Robinson’s Atlantis, Anthony Crowley & Mark Jones' Carnival Joe and The New Black by Marcus Corowa, Stephen Lloyd Helper and Leeroy Bilney. Since 2010 Kellie has produced and performed in her own corporate act, The Divine Sisters, based on the 1940's trio The Andrew Sisters.

After the birth of her two children, Kellie played Anita in Mother and Son with Darren Gilshenan and Noeline Brown in 2014 and in 2015 she played herself in The Production Company's Jerry's Girls.
